  2. I'd rage except that from first-hand experience, I know that some of the basic claims are true. It's also one of the rarely-talked-about violations of the personalistic norm. The victims are men who are treated like sperm banks and children who are at first doted upon, but later simply tolerated.
    1. I know women who have children because they're placing all their hopes for happiness on a baby, a baby that can't ever bear that weight.
    2. I know women who have children so they can get more welfare money, becoming serial single moms, using both men and the baby
    3. I know women whose desperation for children has driven them to take carcinogenic and personality-altering fertility meds, not caring about anything but their own problem.
    4. I know women who have said "my kids were so cute when they were born, but not so much after a few years. (insert friends laughing along with her here, and toddler with confused look on face)"

  4. If a person seeks to embrace the Will of God in his or her life they will view openness to life (and other hard teachings like forgiveness, love of enemies, detatchment from material goods, etc) in a different way than someone who lives for himself.

Such is the world in which we live.

"If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his lord.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you." John 15:18-20
